Hey Everyone! We currently have a 2004 A6 2.7T. We've put roughly $3000 into repairs (mostly oil leaks, transmission fluid, and a vacuum hose) in the last year. The vehicle has only 63,000 miles on it. I guess I'm looking for some input on what to expect in the future for repairs. I spoke with a gentleman at the dealership and he mentioned that the turbo engines could potentially fail and could be a costly fix. He also mentioned that it is getting to be about the time for the torque converter to potentially fail. We already know that our cam seals are leaking and that it is considered to be 'typical' for all Audis. What else is 'typical' for the Audi's? We're kind of on the fence on whether or not we should keep the car and take the risk of paying expensive repairs, or ditch it and find something with a certified & extended bumper to bumper warranty. It's just disconcerting that there's only 63,000 miles on it and every time we've turned around lately, it needs another repair. |

| When did you buy it and how many miles have you put on it since? Did you have a PPI performed? You could always keep the car and pick up an extended warranty for it to cover any major repairs. They are good cars but if the previous owner(s) beat on it or didn't maintain it properly you could be stuck with a problematic one. | |
| We decided to ditch the A6 for a Nissan 350Z w/ a 7 yr/100k warranty. Thanks for the input dman... | |
