6 mm brake lines convert to quarter inch

My 98 Lesabre has rusty & leaking brake lines between the master cylinder and ABS unit. These lines are 6 mm pipes. Nobody sells that size around here. The dealer has complete assemblies for $90 each (!) I'm thinking of switching to quarter inch lines (which are 6.3 mm), and drilling the flare nuts to fit the line. Has anybody done this?
