I can't find any markings, or lables that say whether my 95 GMC Safari has a Throttle Body Injector, or a Fuel Port Injector? Is there any way to tell without going thru the VIN number?

I have just purchaced a 95 Safari, not running. Overall it is in pretty good shape. The previous owner said it needs a central port injector. Is this something A person with fairly good mechanical aptitude can handle? Or should I hire A repair shop.I only paid $300 for it. A steal considering its condition.
