Replying to: treehugger81 (May 01, 2009 8:21 am) By loosening the cap the computer will detect a lose of pressure in the fuel system thus giving a warning light. Dont take the cap off just loosen it. It usually will trigger a warning/code which could give other codes that available for reading.

Replying to: frankrizzo965 (Jun 30, 2009 5:23 pm) Hey there.....our cobalt has been fixed now. It was in fact a blown head gasket. Sorry to be the one delivering the bad news. I sure hope if that is your problem you have a warranty. It was a costly little repair. We had a warranty but I know what our normal mechanic told us it would have ran if we hadn't gone to the dealership with warranty papers in hand. Email me if you have anymore questions.
