I recently was driving my '95 Jeep Laredo and stopped at a light to make a right and the anti theft system came on and shut down the Jeep, I got out and unlocked the drivers door and it was fine. I now cannot get the Jeep started the system seems to be not letting the signal through, I tried to do the key thing in the door again it does shut off but turns back on again when I try to start it. Does anyone know what I can do??? please help if you can!

I was having problems with my ATS, the "buttons" in the drivers door and the passenger back door were not making the connections that they were supposed to. My alarm was going off in the middle of the night for no reason. I just put some small cardboard pieces over the "buttons" and haven't had the problem since. Not sure if this will help but it's what I did on my 97 JGC Lim.
