Radio whine. Is there an easy fix?

I took the '05 out for another test drive, checking on a number of things before I make an offer. One thing I noticed is that the radio makes a whining noise during acceleration, sort of like we used to get from non-resistor plugs back in the old days. I searched around the forum and saw that there was one fix posted by tagler consisting of placing a 200 micofarad capacitor across the DC power supply at the amp, which seems a bit arcane but worked, I guess. Has anyone else had this problem and had it fixed? I did a search in the TSBs and found nothing on this problem. I'd like to have the dealer fix it before I get the car. Thanks!
