Disconecting battery for 1 month

Hello I just want to know if it is okay to disconnect a battery for one month while we go to Florida with our pickup truck. We had a lot of computer troubles in 2006 and my wife seems to remember the dealer suggesting without the battery it would cost a lot to have information reset. Replying to: twheeler (Apr 25, 2009 5:36 am) I have never found it to cause a problem. I was away for five weeks about 1.5 years ago, and I disconnected the battery on my van without issue.
