Hello I just want to know if it is okay to disconnect a battery for one month while we go to Florida with our pickup truck.
We had a lot of computer troubles in 2006 and my wife seems to remember the dealer suggesting without the battery it would cost a lot to have information reset. I called the dealer recently and he says it would NOT cause a problem. We just want a second opinion. Thank you for the help.

I have never found it to cause a problem. I was away for five weeks about 1.5 years ago, and I disconnected the battery on my van without issue.
