The power antenna on my '97 Pathfinder LE (which recently flipped 200,000 miles!) is stuck in the "down" position. If I manually extend the antenna, it will remain "up" as long as the radio is on. If I turn off the radio, the antenna will go down, but will not go back up again. Dealer says the motor needs to be replaced and wants big $$$. But the motor (seems to, anyway) works just fine when retracting the antenna. Is there any way to confirm that the motor needs to be replaced? Is there any way I can keep the antenna in the "up" position? How can I disconnect the power? Is there a dedicated fuse I can pull? Tx
