I do like the styling and yes I agree with post #15 - I can see some of the Saturn Vue styling cues. I currently own an Edge so this Caddy is looks nice to me. Why does GM however decide to put the gas filler on the passenger side? How many of you ask your passenger get out and fill up the tank? Just doesn't make sense to me. Also, does anyone know where this vehicle will be assembled?

I just received word from Cadillac that this vehicle will be assembled in Mexico and will have the gas filler door on the passenger side. What a disappointment.

I have two cars and one has a driver's side fuel door and the other has it on the passenger side. Probably something to do with the platform.

It would be nice if the car companies would standardize so I wouldn't have to find the little triangle by the fuel gauge so I could remember which side the gas cap is on.

SRX and Leasing by b4z

In the past Caddy has introduced a new vehicle with some kind of favorable leasing plan. Much in the same way MB and Audi have done with the introductions of the GLK and Q5(although those are balloon plans)
Caddy can't survive unless they can get GMAC sponsored leasing going again.
Caddy depreciation is truly heinous.
Buying a new Caddy is not smart. leasing or buying a 2 yr. Caddy is.

If it's built in mexico then I consider it an import -- the mercedes ml 350 is built in the states. If I want to support domestic auto workers which do I buy?

A reporter from a large newspaper is looking to speak to consumers who is considering purchasing the Cadillac SRX. Please send your daytime phone number and the vehicle you own to jfallonedmunds.com by Thursday, July 2, 2009.
