I have a brand new 2008 Avalon Ltd. The AC quit working. I returned to the dealership where I purchased the vehicle. Fist thing before they even inspected the car they said, " a rock could have hit the condenser unit and damaged it, physical damage is not covered under the car warranty." I looked at the condenser and could see absolutely no physical damage. The local Toyota factory rep agrees with the dealership and they want $635 to replace the condenser. I simply think the unit was bad from the get go and they do not want to honor the warranty. This is Toyota quality? I am going back to Honda next time around. Anyone had a similar experience?
