I own a '06 g6 and somehow my key fob fell from my key chain and now it is lost. I haven't driven my car since Friday and I just realized this afternoon (sunday) that its missing. I park my car outside, which means I'm fearful someone will try to open my car if they find the fob. Is there anything I can do to keep someone from getting into my car? Will purchasing a new key fob reset the sensor? Is there anyway to disable the senor in my car? We did have a large snow storm all day and evening which is now melting, so if it did fall outside, hopefully its fried! Replies to this message: bvdj84 (Mar 30, 2009 6:13 am)

Replying to: lemonro (Mar 29, 2009 2:00 pm) Chances are, its in the snow somewhere. But, you can get another fob, perhaps they can reprogram the fob to a different frequency. I am not entirely sure though. Hopefully you'll see it when the snow melts. Good luck!
