I have a 2000 Ford Expedition, 4x4, 5.4 litre with 254k miles on it. The problem is that while driving 65 mph yesterday the wife reports hearing a "clunk" after which the transmission failed to operate regardless of shift lever position or 4-wheel hi/low selection. Anyone have suggestions for troubleshooting?
