Not sure if you will get this, as this is an older post, but amen brother i hear ya completely.

I have a 2002 Jeep grand cherokee laredo that worked great for about 2 yrs before everything started going to shit, with exception that it vibrates once up to 60 mph that happend from the beginning.

The window regulators blow out on the windows every single yr, so now in summer i never roll my windows down because it costs 240 to 280 a pop to fix.

My Jeep also stutters and stalls like yours does, we'll be at a stop light and it will shake violently and shutter and act like its going to die on us, and sometimes does.

Every summer once june hits, the radiator fan blows out (which is replaced for free because it was a recall) but it blows out my radiator fan relay at the same time which is 340 out of pocket every year lol.

I don't know who to turn to with these issues because most mechanics are just after the buck and since i'm not car savy i can be dupped into paying unneccessary money for bullchit.

If you come up with any answers let me know lol, sorry i know this doesnt help just wanted to let ya know, there's lots of us out there

Engine revs to full throttle by toetrucker

I just replaced the head gasket on my 99 Cherokee. Easy job, no problems but when I started it, the engine revved to full throttle. I double checked everything, it all seems fine but when I start it, it immediately goes to full throttle and stays there. The IAC was old and carboned and had been setting a code prior to the head gasket. I replaced that but no change. It maxes out the engine speed. Any ideas?

I have a 93 cherokee with the straight six 4.0 has 124300 on the odo and the coolant is coffee black. I noticed this a few days ago and had it flushed today made sure they used the chemical cleaner before adding the new coolant. Checked coolant today and its still coffee black I can't figure out what is going on and what my next step should be. I need this thing to keep running its all I have right now and cannot afford for it to freak out on me now. Anybody with any suggestions or suggested repairs I would greatly appreciate the help if I got to spend money to fix it I.E. radaitor, water pump, hoses, ect I will do it its a good vehicle and would like to keep it running.
