Hey guys,

A couple of weeks ago, I started noticing a slight smell of fuel inside the car. It has gotten significantly worse over time. It tends to smell the worse when the A/C is on. Any ideas what could be causing this?

You need to find the problem because this is a safety hazard.

When you've noticed the smell, open the hood to see if the smell is stronger there.

Check the gas cap. Be sure it is on and turned so that it clicks a few times.

Open the trunk and see if the smell is stronger there. There is an opening in the floor of the trunk covered by a piece of metal that allows access to the fuel pump.

Smell around the car when there is no wind to see if you notice the smell from under the car where the fuel lines run to the engine compartment.

The most source likely is a snap connector is seeping on the fuel lines under the hood.
Another possibility is an injector is seeping fuel. That's on top of the motor
