Replying to: haitink (Aug 23, 2009 3:39 am) I asked a few dealerships to do a locator for the XC60 I wanted--I wanted 3 of the 4 packages plus leather interior. All of them were able to locate models (either at other dealerships or in the port) that were closer to base--maybe only the climate package. I ordered exactly what I wanted at $500 over cost. Here's the info, let me know if more detail is required...   3.0T xc60 - no options but metallic paint MSRP - 38600 Invoice - 36335 + 500 advertising fee = 36835   The Lease offer:   -1 k Marketing allowance -4750 Lease incentive + 700 Dealer profit and bogus processing fee   Total comes to - 31785 Lease loan is through my own bank with money factor of .00175, residual of 19225 for three year lease. No down payment required except first month payment and 60-70 in fees.   Is a 700 markup over invoice a fair price after taking into account all the incentives? is the 500 advertising markup a bit excessive? Replying to: kyfdx (Aug 27, 2009 3:29 pm) It's through credit union so no sales tax. Lease comes to 467 for three years. no money down except first payment and 400 loan fee. Lease is good because of credit union. I was trying to see if the price seemed fair. Thoughts?

Considering Overseas delivery of XC60....driving around Sweden a little and then having them ship the car to our dealer. Who has done this? And how did it work out? If I couldn't make AT LEAST $700 over invoice I wouldn't sell the car, and I'd have to think long and hard at $700 over. Buy the car. Replying to: aky (Aug 28, 2009 1:59 pm) If you have the time, OSD is a wonderful way to go. Car will probably cost less than if you bought it the regular way. However, most banks won't loan money on an OSD car, you can't lease it, except thru VFNA(yuck) and no retail incentives apply. Also, it takes 3 months to build you a car and another 1.5 to 2 months to ship it home to you. If you like to travel, SAS is great and the hotel in Gothenburg is superb.
