FX35 - Guys need your advise on this by coolguy8157

Hello.....I just want your opinion on how to work this thing out..... I own outright a fully loaded 07 G35 sedan.... I have a company now and want to lease a new FX35 for my company and dump the G.... Is there anyway to sell the G to the dealer and get a lease on an FX...or is it worth just selling the G myself and leasing an FX....Need your opinion please.
thanks

I would do some research utilizing the various sources to see what the value of your car is. Selling outright is always usually the most profitable but more difficult. Trade-in is easy but you pay for the convenience.

The option that may be best for you is to look at trading in the G against a purchase of the FX. You would then qualify for the various purchase incentives and will already have some decent equity in the FX.

You could of course trade in the G and lease an FX. I would just tell the dealer that proceeds from the G are not going into the lease as that does not make sense. Don't put any dollars into a lease other than normal up front costs such as taxes and fees.

As long as you are armed with the right information you can make either deal work for you.

I never thought that you can trade the G and buy an FX for business....the thing is...I'm not sure whether I can roll my personal equity into a business deal...that's where I'm stumbled...
thanks for the info...may be I need to explore this further.
