| I have a 2005 Chevy Cavalier and just recently when i turn the heater on get the smell of gas through the vents. I have not seen a loss of fuel or anything in that nature. I have 41,000 miles and just got an oil change. Any Ideas? | |

Recently noticed faint gasoline smell while driving. Local shop said it needed new injector o-rings. Had them do that ... now it is 10 times worse! Now they say it needs new injectors. Engine runs fine. Smooth idle, smooth at speed. I cannot see how the injector replacement will make it better, unless old injectors somehow get smaller in diameter with age which would cause the o-rings not to seal. Can any one help me out here?
