I emailed you earlier from my work address but wanted you to know that Medina Auto Mall has diagnosed that my 2008 Enclave needs a new steering rack, power steering pump, and swaybar links. Mary, the Service Manager, shared that she had three others in for the same thing today. Buick evidently has a quality issue with this major component to be failing at such low mileage (70k in my case).
 
Please advise if GM will provide warranty consideration for my repair. I have to make a decision as the car is waiting for repair.

I will send your case to your District Specialist for further consideration; I'm sorry, but the soonest they will be able to contact you is Monday the 11th as it's now Friday evening. I just returned home from dropping my 2010 Enclave (61,000 miles) off at the dealership for power steering repairs. The service manager was not comfortable with me driving the vehicle home and bringing it back tomorrow because he felt it was not safe. I narrowly avoided 2 accidents recently when I was unable to turn my vehicle into driveways with vehicles coming in the opposite direction. The service manager said that it was a power steering failure. It is clear from these posts that the people at Buick have "known or should have known" about this problem since 2008. When are they going to issue a recall?? Hopefully it will not take a death or serious injury before they do something about it!

Please report any safety issues (especially the power steering) to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration at https://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/ivoq/.
We as consumers need to make sure they are aware of safety issues to protect others. Thank you!
