| I have a 2000 Silverado 1500 z71 that I do mild offroading with. Lately there has been a creaking noise whenever I make a turn at a decent angle. This didnt start immediately after a trip offroad, maybe a week after. There was no damage done that I know of done on the trip (at least there was no incident) but now it is happening more frequently, pretty much every time I have to make a 90 degree turn. Any ideas on what it could be and how serious this is? Maybe a tie rod or steering knuckle? | |

| describe the noise more, does it happen as you are turning the wheel or as you are moving in a turn? | |
