That's because the platform it's built on. The Charger, Magnum and 300C all share the same platform.

I purchased a use Dodge Magnum R/T about one year ago today. It is a 2005 and yes with the Hemi. I average only 40 miles a day traveling combined highways and backroads to work and my average gas milage is 17 mpg. (occassionally, not a lot, I do put the pedal to the metal) so I could probably do a little better if my driving habits change.
So far, the car has been very dependable. When I purchased it about a year ago, I was slightly worried because it too was in mint condition with only 15,000 miles. Now a year later, with 24,000 miles on it, I would trade it for the world or a Mustang GT.
