Just stopped by the dealer today. 2009 4-door Cobalt 1LT with a manual transmission. Has the spare tire and cruise control options.   Price with everything except tax, tags, and title: $13,281   I have $3500 on an old school GM card that I can use (it isn't restricted by model) so that brings it down to $9,781   I realize that its a great deal with the GM card, but is the base price as low as I can get it or should I try for more somewhere else? They take $5000 off the MSRP of EVERY in stock Cobalt and they have over 200 of them in stock! Whether you got a good deal or not sort of depends how you evaluate with that new information. I just bought a palin Jane LS with no options from them without a hassle. This is an advertised deal and they are selling many of them because of the GREAT price. This is my 3rd new Cobalt that I have purchased and they are fine cars for basic and reliable transportation.
