I have a 2001 Town Car, I went to get inspected and was told e-brake was not working. Anyone know where I may find a schematic or how to guide online so I can try to fix it myself. Thanks in advance! Replies to this message: nwraaa (Feb 21, 2009 3:09 pm)

Replying to: das_dingo (Feb 20, 2009 5:52 pm) This is not unusual. We don't use our emergency brakes during the period of time between safety inpections. Over a years time, there can be a slight build up of debris on the foot mechanism and the cable. A shot of WD-40 and engaging/disengaging the emergency brake a few time usually corrects the problem.
