Once pushed you have to wait about 3 seconds before you can unlock the doors again. I believe the front passenger door and the 5th door have the sensors for unlocking. Not sure about the rear passenger doors. I do know the rav4 can be programed to either unlock the driver or all doors at once. I got this info when I did a test drive and ordered a red 09 limited of my own that is suppose to arrive next week. Here is a link to the Toyota IGuide that has a bunch of info on how to use the various equipment. This info may be of some help to you, I just purchased an 09 Rav 4 AWD, Limited V6,moonroof, leather, heated seats, back up camera, tow package, valor exhaust tip, added winter mats everything but nav for $28,172.53 + tax & plates. Hope you get the red Rav next week. Thanks again.
