i have a 99 crown that developed a misfire. first it started on cylinder 2. i replaced the coil and it ran fine. then the problem came back on cylinders 2,4,7, and 8 i replaced all coils and plugs but it still misfires on cylinder 8. it also cooked the plug in #8 after only 2 weeks after tune up. i replaced the plug, both oxygen sensors, and got a compression test done on 8. it showed about 50 lbs and is now showing a misfire on 2, 4, and 8.i don't have any burnt valves and i'm thinking about replacing the crankshaft position sensor and swapping the fuel injectors. does anyone have any great ideas that could possibly help? before i waste anymore money.
