I have read a few discussions on this code and tried some of the solutions given but none seem to work. I get the P0740 TCC Solenoid Valve code, have cleaned the pan out and put new fluid in, but the code came back. Called the dealer and the part is $423, plus another $160 labor. Doing some research i see there is an upper and lower solenoid, how would I know which one it would be. Reason i ask is that the upper is $382 online and the lower is $72 bucks online. If i am correct, the lower one is right there in the pan area when you take the transmission pan off. I have the 2002 Xterra, AT V6 non SC. Any help would be appreciated.
