I've got a 2000 Chevy Astro (panel) van, just bought it used. I've been busy fixing things on it, have gotten lot's of help right here in this forum learning about vacuum hoses controlling the heater controls. Thanks! Now I am stumped though. the washer motor is not putting out fluid. I do not even hear the washer motor engage at all. I have red that they need to be primed, and I should check for voltage to the pump. okay, fine. except I cannot for the life of me FIND the washer motor! I found the lines coming all the way from the end of the wiper blades and traced them all the way to the bottom of the tank and did not find a motor. All I found was what appeared to be some sort of check-valve to prevent fluid from draining all the way back into the container. Also in the back of the vehicle I found what appeared to be a broken pump, so I'm not sure if there is even a pump hooked up at all right now My question is twofold: 1. where is the pump located? It would be nice to know before I go tearing the resevoir out 2. How to you prime the pump? |
