I’ve just purchased a 2008 Sportage automatic 2 wheel drive and a couple of the options listed on the sticker were Electronic Stability Control and Traction Control System (listed as 2 separate Items) I’ve read the owners manual and both of these do perform a different function and are showing a on/off switch for each, and a dash light for each. I only have the ESC switch and light. I called the salesman and he thought the ESC did both but was going to research further. Does the ESC perform both functions or are these two different and separate systems independent from each other and should they have separate on/off switch and dash light.
