hi, i have a 1996 pontiac grand prix, and i had an overheating problem so i traced it to the blown lower intake gasket. it is pretty hard to spot because the leaking usually ends up behind the generator and the power steering pump. it can be up to 1000 dollars to fix at a shop and up to 400 if you do it yourself. hope this helped.
