i have a 1996 trooper and im in love with it. But, it is really hard to turn the steering wheel...does anyone have any ideas?

could be a few things ..ball joints,track rods ends seized or power steering box low on oil or belt sliping ..low air in tyres ..best jack the front of the car up in the air and try turning the steering wheel to see if its still stiff to turn ?
