Jiggling Headlamps Solved 2005 to 2007 Malibu

My mechanic Tony A. at the local dealer in Lexington, KY fixed this in less than a minute and didn't charge me. He simply removed the headlamps, and bent the brackets up about 1/2 inch where the 2 prongs on the bottom of the headlamps rest in. He suggested wearing gloves when you do this as the metal has sharp edges. He told me that someone sat on the front of my car where the headlamps are and they brackets were bent. I tried all the tricks suggested on the web and spent a whole day looking for a specific Round washer to place under the prongs but still had no luck. Replying to: 300KCarguy (Jan 24, 2009 8:57 am) I bought my my almost brand new (6 mnths old) and have had this problem from day one. It came from the dealers like this. I don't believe its from anyone sitting on the front end. I just believe that it comes from the factory like that. (somebody isn't doing their job, but thank you for the info. now I can fix it correctly.
