Okay, here's a wierd problem. 3 times now my windshield wipers have come on without me turning them on. The last time was just this morning. They stay on for 10-15 minutes then stop. They wipe at only one speed. Turning off the engine and restarting does not help. This happens only when I am driving the car, never when my wife drives. We have electric seats. I weigh 240 lbs. My wife weighes 130 lbs. I belive there is a short somewhere that my weight on the seat is activating. This does not happen every time I drive which makes it more difficult to diagnose. Subaru dealer thinks I'm batty. They say they checked and could not find a problem. Anybody else have this problem?

Strange problem indeed.

I would look under the seat to make sure there aren't any pinched wires or something like that, maybe use tie-straps to tie loose ones.
