#1 of 4 Grand Am & Gas Mileage by kemond1

I have a 2000 Grand Am GT. I found the sticker recently and noticed that it is suppose to give me 32 on the highway and 24 in the city. I drive mostly interstate and my fuel mileage is lucky to get 24. I've changed the plugs and wires and replaced the fuel filter, but it seems like as time goes by I get less and less mileage out of it. Anybody else had these problems? I have a 93 Ford Probe that gave 33.4 mpg over the summer, so I'm hoping it's not an age thing

Those numbers are real optimistic for a GT 6 cylinder. I used to get close to that with the four cylinder but the 04 GT I have now and the 99 SE before with V6's won't do it. The SE did slightly better, but that makes sense, the GT has a lower final drive ratio.
