| Last week I was pulling a trailer with my 2001 Jeep Cherokee and the radiator gave up and developed a hole on the side. so I replaced the radiator. Now the Jeep will not cool its self down. I replaced the thermostat cause the upper radiator hose was not getting warm. so now it is warm and still wants to overheat and push all the fluid from the radiator to the overflow bottle. The motor refuses to cool down the upper hose is now getting warm. I need help asap please. I do not want to loose my job cause I can not get back and forth to work. the thermostat is a OEM 180 degree | |

| 100 to 1 Kirksjohnson is right: you blew the head gasket when it overheated when the radiator blew out. Good luck. | |

There was a leak in the radiator of our 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport, so my son replaced it. He also replaced the upper and lower rad hoses as "insurance." The upper one was clogged with rust. Now he needs to know the location of the bleeder screw to finish up. This is an in-line six, with Auto transmission. Many thanks |

I hope someone here can give me some advice. I know NOTHING about car mechanics and I'm sick of car repairmen (and salesmen) cheating me. I bought a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport with 45k mile (yes, that's right) three days ago. Had them change the timing belt at the dealer before I took it. Have driven it 200 miles. Pulled in the driveway just now and fluid (I think it is coolant) pouring out from under the front. Of course, dealer now closed and I'm without a car until Monday or Tuesday. Any ideas would be helpful. I've read on other sites that the water pump should have been changed when they changed the timing belt. Would that cause all the fluids to pour out? HELP!

Never overheated before replacing with new radiator (old was leaking) and new thermostat. I was told about air pockets so I install Prestone Reverse Flush Kit. Did not work. Changed the cap to higher pressure but it still filled the tank. Don't know what else to do besides the water pump. But either it works or don't...doesn't it? I don't want to remove the pump only to find nothing's wrong with it. Should I replace the pump or should I donate the truck.
