Hey Guys, I have a 1993 Subaru Legacy that was running great up until yesterday when the check engine light came on and it cut out on me. From turning the engine over it sounds like the engine is not getting any fuel, the same sound when you have one of those unfortunate running out moments at the side of the road. However it has half a tank. I am wondering weather anyone else has had similar problems with this and weather or not it is an easy fix, i bought it as a cheap run around $900.00 off of craigslist, but the car has run really well for the last 3 months and hasn't missed a beat. Replying to: wshoward (Jan 12, 2009 5:02 pm) My first guess would be the fuel pump. When you turn the ignition to the On position, do you hear the fuel pump going "whirrrrr" to prime the pressure?
