A few months after purchasing my 2006 Mountaineer, the CD player part of the navigation system stopped ejecting CDs. The dealer replaced the unit, but with a refurbished CD player which did the same thing after a few more months. I am now on the 3rd, 4th or 5th unit (I'm not sure which) and it is once again failing tio eject CDs. Banging on the console with my fist on a timely basis ejects CDs individually.) Replacements take months to come in. A new unit is never supplied - only refurbished ones. My questions are: Is the dealer ripping me off and is there an aftermarket solution to the problem? My warranty has a little over 20,000 miles to go.
