I have a 2003 chevy S10 Zr5. It has a factory installed alarm and an after market car starter. The problem that Im having is that after I shut the truck off and lock it the parking lights stay on and the chime inside the truck also stays on. The only way I can get the lights off is to disconnect the battery. Anyone else have this problem?? Im tginking either ignition switch or dash light switch?

Check battery connections at starter and ground on engine block. Also clean the battery connections good at the battery.

I have a 95 chev s10 about 2 mo ago it wouldn't start
replaced the starter, solenoid and battery, about 2 weeks later it did the same thing but this time it burnt a fusible link(one on that block inside the l fender) replaced the link and started looking for a short, didn't find one but the starter started working again, the other day it did the same thing, i can't seem to find the short, goot any ideas?
