I went back and forth about 08 manual(significantly discounted) vs. 09 manual... pdk was ok, but for me, I had to get a manual gearbox... more involvement, more visceral feel... what made the decision for an 09 ultimately was the technology (ipod/bluetooth) and direct injection... I also drove the S with pdk at the Porsche school in Birmingham and found it to be absolutly amazing on the track. It does shifts at a speed and of a dimension (7th to 3rd) that we simply cannot do. I agree the mileage is much better than my 2007 with Tip.
