We have a 2007 TB which is a piece of junk.
It has been at the dealerships (two) so many times it is ridiculous. Of course, they cannot duplicate the problem (sound familiar?). Then they install monitors (which fail repeatedly only when in our vehicle...isn't that odd?) and tell us that whaterer happened is "normal". The car increases speed whenever it chooses and applies the brakes whenever it chooses...this is normal???
We have now sent the problem to www.autolemonlaws.com. Perhaps we can still have resolution and a safe car to drive...not a GM product ever again!
A friend has a GMAC Lease Hummer which she would like to purchase. Was told they won't discuss the switch until after January when they know the results of the financial situation with Bush.

If a vehicle increases in speed all of a sudden or at all that has to do in the speed sensor of the motor. Generally this is located near the fly wheel. They should test the continuity of the sensor to make sure thats the problem. If not sometimes when the motor increase in rpm which can be in speed as well when you are stopping, it could be because the motor is off on timing. Check those two things and that should be a good foothold.
