It was the first thing I noticed as weird after driving it for a while and thought something was wrong, until I saw how low the RPMS were and said, oh, must be the gearing. They can fix this if they really wanted to, by lengthening the shift points, and keeping it out of 6th until after it hits 45 MPH, but I'll bet it would mess with the EPA ratings.

I have noticed the engine lugging at slow speeds, not bad but noticeable. I have a new problem. the "sport" shifter is stuck in 1st gear. I have an appointment at the dealer to check it out but it would be helpful if any one could share a similar experience.   John
