He there, I searched the archives and got some good information but ultimately I think I need some Volvo geek advice. I am thinking of buying this: http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/944842808.html A Volvo 760 Wagon 1990 I have spoken with them man selling it. He is a mechanic at a well known Volvo repair shop in Seattle. He assures me that the car is in fine working order, the sunroof no longer opens due to a bad switch which would be expensive to fix. I have never owned a Volvo but I want a reliable station wagon. I have been a VW person but I cannot find a VW wagon I can afford. So far the only big con I have found surfing the internet is that Volvo's are expensive to fix. I don't have much money and I am not mechanically inclined but I have never put more than 3,000 miles a year on a car. I haven't even had one for 5 years, but I need one now for limited driving. Should I buy this?! Any advice is welcome!
