What im tryn to do is switch a 03 Crown Vic with a 01 Merc Transmission.I'm getting to many different yes and no's.I know the tranny case is the same but im told that there is two different computer plugs.The one i have on the 03 Crown Vic is a white plug and since i dont have the plug or the car from the 01 Grand Marquis i need to know if the plug is also white.I know if its not a match the computer will tell it to shift at the wrong time causing it to wear quickly. I've tryd all the local bone yards, transmission shops and local Ford dealer.If anyone would know it would be the dealer but since there stuck on selling their parts and service they won't give any info about it.
