Abrupt accelerator response by jimmyy43

I have a 2008 with just 2,000 miles on it. I am experiencing an abrupt response to slight pressure on the gas pedal. This is not evident from a dead stop or a sudden acceleration while driving on the highway. It is only evident when you are just creeping along in a parking lot, say about 3 to 5 mph or inching forward at a stop light. Instead of moving forward smoothly the car lurches. Not where it is dangerous but it gets annoying especially when my other cars(one of them a Ford) are as smooth as silk at any speed.
Any help would be appreciated before I take it to the dealer

I had the exact issue when I took a test drive and found it annoying. Thought it was just this car but it played a factor in me not buying one. Good luck in getting it fixed. Go to the dealer and ask if there are any notices from ford on the issue. Then drive another model on the lot and if it doesn't do it ask for yours to be made to drive the same or swap vehicles.
