It was my understanding that license fees have to be paid up front (in california anyway) Is the $360 per month including local tax? Keep in mind that I had a bit more leverage because I wanted a stick shift (not as popular).   I'm not sure about the license fees, all I know is that I didn't pay a penny out of pocket...everything was included in the $360.   Thanks- Dan

Replying to: visanic (Nov 03, 2009 12:04 pm) I just got back from the VW dealer ship. Lease a CC Sport for $364 a month with $1100. out of pocket at signing. This was their "Sign and Drive" promotion. This included aquisition fee,etc. (except for DMV fees). At first they said we had to put down $1700. but then they deducted the VW promise to make the first payment. The salesman also said he would lower the down payment amount further to "eat the last $400. payment we have left on a car we are leasing now) Does all of this sound right? I thought we were getting a good deal but after reading that some of you did not have to put anything down now I am unsure... When you say you put nothing down...do you really mean NOTHING? Or did you have to pay aquisition fees, etc?

Hi Car_Man,   Are Julie's numbers correct (post #161 above) for the current Sign & Drive event (Residual 53%, MF 0.00125).   And if so, does the 2% reduction in residual hold true for 12K miles/year?   I'm also interested in getting the MF and Residuals for the 2010 Passat Wagon, but don't see a specific forum for that. VW's Sign & Drive for it is about $100 more than the CC.   Thanks.
