Quite honestly, I didn't know the Reno was still on the market as a 2008/2009 model...

Edmunds still lists it but I don't know why either. It should have gone the way of the Baja.

Rental fleets have requested that the car stay on?
I do see quite a few Forenzas sitting in the airport rental lots...

I actually see Forenzas driving around here. The big "family of dealerships" in town sells Suzuki in addition to some decent brands.

The Forenza and Reno are dead as of the 2009 model year, but there are probably still a lot of new 2008s left. Get yours before it's too late!

I had a Suzuki salesman tell me the reason the Forenza got such bad EPA numbers was because Suzuki told them to under report it so buyers would not be dissapointed if it did not get their figures.
After driving on , the mileage is not the first thing I would be dissapointed in.

A friend of mine had a Forenza rental not long ago when his 120K mile 03 Accord was in the shop to have a key scratch fixed. He said the Honda, even at that mileage, feels like a Bentley compared to the Forenza.

Gee, thanks...
Think I'll pass. The same dealer sells Hondas, Nissans, FLM and Jeep. I think anything from any of those - even Jeep - would be an improvement.

Sounds like the little Suzuki gets some more nominations. So it isn't well liked, doesn't sell well and is near the bottom of the dependability list. Maybe we didn't expect as much from the Reno as we did for the Smart but both of them get my vote.
