Replying to: deano2 (Nov 13, 2008 7:15 pm) if the engine tachs,revs but the car is not accelerating,sounds like a trans malfunction,check your fluid (trans). our impala blew the trans at 68,000 miles. symptoms before it happened ...put in gear engine revved up but it wouldn't move,same when leaving a light. I own other new chevy's they all have the same thing happen,trans flush every time its scheduled helps this prob alot. hope this helped
