I have a 2002 ford Taurus that was bought with minor front end damage. I have recently finished repairing the body but now I cant seem to get it to start. while I was working on it, the battery was dead. Now that I have a new battery my starter dosent even try to turn over. my question is: could the anti theft device have been damaged by the accident or is there a reset button or procedure to go thru to get my key to work now? or am I just on the wrong track altogether?
