I already tried to push Insight, but the highest I could get it was $86.70. I also tried to push MZD3 and FMST. I can't buy enough to push a stock to $100 because it exceeds the available shares. HFIT was my largest short. I doubt my remaining short will break the $90 mark when I cover it.

I ran a test transaction with a different vehicle a couple of nights ago. I too was told it would exceed the number of available shares. I guess thats how they keep you from exceeding the 100 dollar ceiling.

What happens if the car actually sells 100k units, I wonder?

In every case, that wouldn't happen, unless we originally forecast the stock to be at or above $100/share. In that case, we cap it at $1,000/share.

What if it beats a forecast that it will sell 99,000 or falls under a forecast it will sell 101,000? (Just idle curiosity at this point, of course, not concern that the game will run into trouble because of this in the next few days.)

I just missed the $100 mark. My recent trade of FMST hit the 25% cap. I was able to push it to $99.33 though. When I tried the same trade last week I got the exceeds available shares message and the price stopped at $97.70. This may be the closest a stock gets to the $100 mark. It shouldn't take long for someone to drop it. I'm going to try to do one of these a week until I run out of funds.

Well, I've been holding out a bit to see if I could it the 50 mil mark. It happened yesterday for a while. I guess I'm ready to start dumping wealth too. It's hard to make purposely crappy trades

The only stock I saw that was close was MKS, but I haven't heard anything about it.

On a side note I just dropped ATTS to $0.33 a share. I have one more big trade to do. That one will go through tomorrow night just before the price reset. I should be able to drop it below a dollar a share also. If anyone wants to make a lot on one trade that would be a good time to be actively trading.

DURh dropped to $0.47 with no takers for 30 minutes so I dropped it to $0.33. That seems to be the lowest point allowed by the system. I still have 121k that cannot be sold because there are no orders going the other way. I still plan on being out of cash by the end of the day however.
