Replying to: Burgundia (Feb 11, 2009 3:30 pm) I bought a 2009 Corolla LE on Monday. It's an automatic with cruise control and remote keyless options (pretty common configuration, MSRP 18,314). I bought from Toyota of Huntington Beach (Minh and Scott in the internet department were pleasant and did not play any games). OTD price was $16,412 (taxes were paid on 16.3K, so it was a bit under 15K after the 1500 cash back). I live in LA county, so the tax rate is 8.25%. The last $300 was the hardest - a number of dealers would offer the car at 16.7-16.8K OTD. -Tim |

Replying to: timlb (Feb 12, 2009 10:45 am) Toyota of Huntington Beach, he is an internet/fleet manager there. I would highly recommend dealing with him, you will get straight answers unlike some other internet salesmen who don't want to give you an actual price quote until you come in, and then spend 10 minutes telling you all the benefits of leasing and none of the drawbacks (yearly mileage cap, can't modify car, etc). By the way, Toyota is currently offering $400 instant cash rebate for college grads! (Must have graduated in the last two years.) All the salesmen are keeping this one quiet, I found out through a friend.
