A few good cheaters... by pmc4

...Is what makes this CSX game go around.
Mikedrud let all kinds of cheaters get away with shenanigans (such as Chung earning an impossible 2,500% last month and another guy with well over 500%), meaning this game is absolutely not worth playing.
audirsguy is once again in the lead of cheats for this month.

Mikedrud will use the usual excuse: "I can't find any cheatin' so they ain't cheatin." But we know that the impossibly high numbers of the cheaters means mikedrud is either in on it, he's just too incompetent to run the game, or he refuses to repair the software glitch that allows these cheaters to get away with ruining the game for everyone else. In either case, the CSX game is a waste of time for all but those with the ability and time to cheat. The cheaters have also said things like, "Stop accusing people of cheating. Guys, you just don't know what Chung is capable of. I've seen him make 50% on a daily basis!.."

For this reason I am liquidating my account. On the 10th of November I have these cars and trucks (parenthesis means short and non parenthesis means long)and will be liquidating them on that day. This will take place at 5:00 PM, PST.

I'm certainly not going to try to change your mind. Here are just a few observations. I have been annoyed enough to divest my entire portfolio... more than once. The 'problem' with chung isn't that he cheats. It's the fact he stares at CSX all day long when he's going for a win. He spots opportunities and makes dozens of trades a day. He's good at trading during a share blitz. I believe that's what won it for him last month. I'm pretty good at this game too. I've made impossible looking gains that involved no cheating. I've also lost large sums in seconds. Just the other night I got caught up in a flurry of trades. I ended up shorting at the wrong time and lost a few hundred thousand. Whoever was on the other end of these trades got my money. It didn't really put a big dent in my percentages, but could have been a huge windfall for someone that had started the month without much net worth.

I don't think it's appropriate to launch personal attacks at Mike. I'm 99% positive this is not his only job responsibility. It's a game, there are no life or death situations here. I have also seen a number of obvious cheaters disappear from the leader board after Mike checks it out.

I agree, cause someone loses with big trade, it can be another opportunity to gain big % to others. It is a luck, not a cheat. This also means you need to watch your monitor to catch those trades to win.

Absolutely.

I have been diligent about combing the files for cheaters. Some people are just all over this game.

I think it is unfortunate that you are planning to leave especially when you are an active player who seeks to improve the CSX. I think you are a good trader and just need more experience to enjoy the game. If you want to compete for the monthly prize, the strategy is completely different from just increasing your net wealth.

The problem with this CSX software is that it has vulnerabilities. I believe you and a few others identified the vulnerabilities and are exploiting them.

One vulnerability may be that software code can be written to generate automated trades. While this in itself doesn't sound too bad, the truth of the matter is is that the malicious code takes the human element out of trading, rendering the regular CSX trader unable to compete with a clandestine automated code that you guys must have written.

Automated trading is routine on the usual stock exchanges, but on this system would be unbeatable if someone can write such an automated trading program, as I suspect Chung, networkguy and others must have done.
I have traded long enough and put in enough effort at this game to realize there is just no other way gains like 2,500% can be done.

And we all fly around in black, silent helicopters. Also, I prefer my lightweight metallic headgear in the form of a baseball cap. I can send you one if you let me know your size.

Are you freakin serious dude? Why would somebody write a bot for one month out of every 3 just to win a prize? I mean come on dude get real. I was the one that was in second place last month going after the PS3 (good run chung good run) before i gave up, but before you accuse somebody of cheating get the numbers right. Chung had at most 2300% and I had at most 250-300%. I have noticed that the strategy you are using is making it rather difficult for you to show gains like that but give people the benefit of the doubt. By complaining about people cheating that time has shown are NOT cheating you are just crying wolf too many times. At some point people will stop paying attention to your accusations. By the way networkguy you want to send me one of those baseball hats in a one size fits all? Also my black helicopter runs on malicious code, does yours?
