2010 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor First Look - Most factory-supplied off-road packages before now have amounted to nothing more than slightly larger-capacity dampers, retuned springs and a few decals on the fenders. The 2010 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor has all these things, but it takes the premise several steps further. (more)

itschris,

You do know that Consumer Reports rates the Ford F-150 with 5.4 liter V8 engine as the highest reliability mid-size truck with a V8 engine.

Only the Toyota Tundra with V6 engine and Ford F-150 with V6 engine score higher.

The richer people get; the more fun they'll have in the future. Why, because of specializations. What does Kaiser mean? Well, if let's say Kaiser is a successful Billionaire; it could happen, he may need a truck or two for his ranch/farm chores a Powerstroke for the heavy duty work and an XLT F-series for the lighter stuff. Neither of those is going to be fun enough after he has worked in 'em so it seems Ford has thought ahead for Kaiser and made a SVT for those off days when a guy just needs to get away from work, the SVT seems to be the stripper of the truck world in that it's that release from the norm. Not all agree with the stripper analogy so let's call it the dessert. Yeah, it's a sweet steak after a steak meal. The way Ford is channeling it's power makes one want to drive one, two, three, so on and so forth. To Ford: Make Mustang Real Super Car; a lean one that cost a lot & that looks great hitting curves.
